That they’ll never forgive James for stealing Lily away from Snape, or that they’ll never forgive him for how he treated Severus. I agree completely, and even though I love Snape/Lily with all my heart, and will always love them. But I will never forgive Lily for ending her friendship with Severus over letting the word ‘mud-blood’ slip and not accepting his apology, and I’ll never forgive Lily for choosing James over Snape when he so obviously cared so much more for her than James did.

“They wouldn’t give you to the dementors for that! Dementors are for people who do really bad stuff. They guard the wizard prison, Azkaban. You’re not going to end up in Azkaban, you’re too - ” He turned red again and shredded more leaves.
